The Arts

Our Expressive Arts faculty consists of: Art & Graphics,

Photography, Textiles, Music

Drama, Media & Film Studies.

We are in the process of working towards ‘Artsmark’ status which is awarded by the Arts Council to celebrate schools that champion the arts and strive for excellence in their provision.  This will formally recognise the outstanding opportunities and outcomes across our performing and creative arts subjects.

Our extra-curricular provision includes enrichment opportunities across all Key Stages during both lunch time and after school. If a student is interested in joining one of these activities, please speak to the lead teacher.

Our Year 7 Arts Pledge focuses on ‘experiences’ and is our way of displaying our commitment to ensuring that all students have the opportunity to engage in a range of art and cultural activities away from the classroom.

We will be showcasing our arts subjects at a variety of events throughout this academic year and we look forward to seeing you there.
