"A huge thank you to Robert, Ajay and Founders for Schools for making our recent event such a success," writes Mrs Knight-Croft.
"The students who listened to the two CEOs speak were blown away by what they had to say. I genuinely think that the messages delivered by Robert and Ajay, especially about persistence and following your dreams, will make a huge difference to our students.
Jared in Year 13 said "It was an inspiring opportunity to listen to two people who have had very different career pathways. For me, it was great to hear from Robert Gardner as he has taken a similar route to the one I am looking at and is was amazing to hear from Ajay Chowdhury about all the things he has been involved in, including founding Shazam!".
John, another year 13 student, said "Having the opportunity to listen to current CEOs that have succeeded throughout their lives was eye-opening because we got to hear about the routes they have taken along their career paths on their quest to get where they are. I am so pleased that our school (Bexleyheath Academy) gives us exposure to the professionals from the work environment, because it helps students determine what they want to do in the foreseeable future.""
If you still don't have your SIMS Learning Gateway log-on please email Mr Johnson the names and tutor groups of your children and details of everyone who has parental responsibility. Please allow 3 - 5 working days for us to get you up and running.

More Able and Talented Lead
On the evening of Monday 6 July, Bexleyheath Academy held it's third More Able and Talented Showcase Evening.Mrs A Mack-Poole
Students had the opportunity to showcase a variety of their fantastic work. The evening was a huge success and included live music, presentations, Art exhibition and food. Also, a range of work was displayed from many of the departments and shown in various ways.
Parents, carers and visitors who visited the event were very complimentary and found the evening both impressive and entertaining.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank everyone involved in this extremely enjoyable occasion.
