On Monday 7 July, 60 Year 5 pupils from Pelham Primary School visited us to take part in a Language Fair arranged by Mrs Vieira-Allotey, sixth form student Bret Yates and myself.
The students had to learn greetings, phrases and numbers in order to ask for food in 3 different languages, French, German and Spanish. Once asked for successfully, the students were rewarded with a sample of a croissant, nachos and drink of Shloer and a sticker on a passport to say that they had said their phrases correctly. Thanks also to the year 7, 8 and 9 language students who as always were a credit to Bexleyheath Academy and made the morning so enjoyable to the primary students.
