"This summer has been full of incredible opportunities, by far the most exciting time of my life. Looking back to last year when I reluctantly applied to be a part of the Social mobility foundation (thanks to the persuasion of Mr Telfer), I would never have dreamed that I would have a tour of No. 10 Downing Street and meet the prime minister.

I would never have imagined getting internships at the country’s biggest and best Law firms and Barrister's chambers. To have had the opportunity to learn at the best universities in the country is still a concept hard to grasp. To say the Social mobility has 'helped' me is an understatement; the opportunities they have given me are the difference between the realisations of my dreams.

This programme mainly asks for good GCSE grades, so I urge the lower school students to work hard and try your best because it's so worth it in the end".
