On Thursday 13 February 2014, 45 year 10 and 11 students had the opportunity to watch A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Barbican Theatre. The English Department took their time out from school to take us on a trip which was, overall, fantastic and funny. The entire cast was flawless. The stage and props were used stunningly; visually, the whole performance was presented amazingly well. It was an inspirational production to watch, but it also gave more insight into the play itself. All the cast gave a wonderful performance, and suited their character(s). The production had many enjoyable moments which made us giggle; surprising quite a few of us!

In all, us year elevens would like to take the opportunity to say a massive ‘Thank You!’ to the English Department for enabling us to watch a memorable play which helped us complete our Controlled Assessment.
