Global Entrepreneur Week

On Tuesday 18 November, fifteen students participated in a workshop that was run by different entrepreneurs:

ChellesFlorals - a company that provides a personal and professional serviceto clients around the London and Kent areas.
88 Creative - a company that provides video services to the music, fashion and lifestyle sectors.

This was in light of Global Entrepreneur Week and was designed to inspire and motivate the students.

The selected children were absolutely amazing; they participated in all the tasks set irrespective of whether it took them out of their comfort zone which was such a pleasure to see.

Students played ‘Dragon’s Den’ and were given a budget and a well known and reputable company which they had to create an event for. The winning group managed to only spend £1500 of their £5000 budget through using their initiative and thinking of ways to economise.

The students seem to find the floristry section of the workshop particularly engaging; even some of the boys that shied away at first produced some beautiful bouquets.

Two students who, by their own admission, would not have dreamed of talking in front of their class, delivered fantastic motivational speeches and even interacted with the audience.
