William Morrison of Year 10 joined the RAF Cadets in July 2013 at the age of 13. He completed his basic training with them and then quickly progressed to the rank of Corporal. He has worked very hard during his time in the Air Corps and has shown dedication, excellent attitude and a willingness to progress.
In March 2014, he once again gained promotion and has now been promoted to rank of Sergeant. In doing so he is now one of the youngest Sergeants in 'Kent Wing'.
In addition to the flying, shooting, first Aid and other numerous activities, each squadron takes part in sporting activities. There are frequent tournaments between squadrons, where the best players are selected to represent the wing. The same then happens for the region, with wings competing against each other and the best players making up the regional team.
William attended football trials and was selected to represent both 'Kent Wing' at the beginning of March and subsequently the 'London South East Region', playing on Saturday 5 April. This is a great achievement and a credit to William. The sky is your limit William good luck for what’s ahead.
