On Thursday 19 June, 48 students from Year 7 went to see the fabulous West End production of ‘War Horse’. James Wentworth said “It was amazing!”, whilst quite a few of us cried at the end!

Based on the highly acclaimed novel by the former Children’s Laureate, Michael Morpurgo, the plot follows the life of Joey, a young farm horse, who is sold to the army at the start of the First World War.

The trip ties in with the study of the works of Michael Morpurgo and Roald Dahl, part of our Year 7 prose studies.
