Congratulations to Hollie, one of our current year 13 students who has been awarded one of only twenty Higher Education in London Student Awards.  Higher Education in London works to promote fair access to higher education for students from a widening participation background in London. These accolades are given to students who will be embarking on a higher education course at a university or college in Autumn 2016.

This is a one-off award that recognises the barriers that young people and adults have overcome, as well as their educational achievements.  Hollie will receive £500 and be given her award at a presentation ceremony at the University of London in November.  Hollie was nominated by Mrs Knight-Croft for her extraordinary contribution to the Academy and her studies despite facing health barriers.  We are extremely proud of Hollie as this her second award in one year, as she is also the recipient of a Jack Petchey Award.
