Year 10 GCSE Citizenship Road Safety Awareness Campaign

posted 4 Jul 2017, 01:39 by Glen Bone   [ updated 4 Jul 2017, 01:39 ]
As part of the OCR GCSE Citizenship Qualification, our Year 10 Students have chosen to campaign for improved Road Safety conditions on Woolwich Road. Please can you show your support by signing their petition: Click here or on the image to lodge your e-signature.

They plan to work with Bexley Civic Offices to have Speed Indicator Devices (SIDS) installed, and an education campaign to educate students about distractions including mobile phones when crossing the road. Over the next week, the students will also be surveying peers across the Academy to canvass their attitude towards road safety and see where our biggest issues lie. In addition, they will be petitioning in the Broadway next Friday afternoon from 14:15 and plan to raise awareness with our local neighbouring residents, seeking their support, too.

When signing, please feel free to spread the link to your friends via your social media.
They want as much support as possible so we have a greater chance of a successful campaign.

Thank you in advance for your support.
