As Part of the School Games Competitions, Bexleyheath Academy hosted the primary indoor athletics event on Wednesday 4th November. Four local primary schools entered this competition to win first place and go on to represent the Bexley Borough.  BA’s sports leaders ran all the events from the javelin throw to speed bounce and ending with the crowd-pleasing relay events. The primary school’s all got into the spirits of the games, displaying great sportsmanship’s and cohesion. It was a close competition after all the field events with a few points in it, but after the relays and track events the gap increased. St Paulinus finished in 4th place, 3rd place went to St Josephs, Danson finished 2nd with Hillsgrove taking the podium with 1st place, going on to represent Bexley. We had fantastic feedback and compliments on all our sports leaders who helped out on the night, without them the event could not have taken place. Bexleyheath Academy continue to work with the local primary schools providing them with specialist PE lessons.
