On 26th November 2013, 5 sixth form students were invited to give a presentation to a selection of Managers at AkzoNobel, a Dutch multinational company who are probably best known for Dulux paints. This presentation was an opportunity for the students to share their Outward Bound experience with one of our sponsors. Each student talked about a different aspect of the experience from the mental and physical challenges to the laughter shared and friendships made.

The staff at AkzoNobel were suitably impressed with the calibre of the students feedback from their experience, and also at the confidence and ease with which they answered the questions that were fired at them. As a reward the students were allowed to choose a 1 litre can of paint in the colour of their choice (of course myself and Mr Telfer jumped on this band wagon).

Pictured with our students are AkzoNobel staff Ashley, Tony and Mabs.
